Hi Smee ! No , no immediate movement from UK reseller , an agreement in principle ...yes. But not recieved/supplied any order as yet. I appreciate from the 'stockist's perspective, this rewards a little planning so happy for them to take their time.
BTW ! the 'shops "postage calculator" calculates on weight and size of how we pack in our blister packs.
If you are after a few things , and want to keep price down (who doesn't !) contact me and ask for a more detailed postage quote. I suggest that if I'm not packing the figures in the blister packs, that can immediately save on size and (a little) weight.
I've usually got at least some figures 'not-packed-into-blister-packs' yet .... so there shouldn't be any significant delay (famous last words).
So if a better price is more important than the packaging ... contact me and let me know !
BTW2.! as a general rule the postage from Aus is about $15 per 500g up to 2kg , after which it is charged at $8 per 500g thereafter. ...so the key to cheaper postage rates is ... buy lots ! .... yeah ! ... that's always the key !
or... be really mindful of each 500g "threshold" in added weight up to 2kg.
!!! sorry about postage rates...nothing i can reasonably do here .
... i know that for we Australians we are well used to high postage from 'the rest of the world', and right now we have a relatively strong AUD which makes it more 'relatively expensive' to buy from Australia.
I know this... and we price our figures and wholesale rates to international stockists accordingly.
We don't make much "on-paper profit" from what we do, ...to remain compeditive... and still fund some new projects.
We in Australia (buying figures from UK, USA and europe for years) are used to this being the other way around.
The answer is therefore most obvious ... move to Australia !
Although excessive sunshine, and cold, cold beer might take some getting used to !
